Drink.Pee.Drink.Pee.Drink.Pee was shown at Ars Electronica 2009 as part of the Human Nature exhibition from Sept 3-9, 2009 in Linz, Austria.
We created an installation that illustrates the continuous water cycle between our toilet and drinking water, through the ecosystem that is subject to our personal waste.
We also conducted workshops where participants transformed their urine into fertilizer for their houseplants. Each participant took home a small vial of super concentrated fertilizer made from their own waste.
We had a wonderful time, and the Ars Electronica staff was extraordinarily helpful! We want to thank them and all of the people who turned their urine into fertilizer!
